Hand Thrown Stoneware Lidded Jar with Vintage Matchbooks

Item Details

A hand thrown stoneware jar with vintage matchbooks. The jar includes a lid with circular finial. The body of the jar is ovoid in shape with two lug handles. The piece is finished in an olive green glaze with a triangular pattern in a lighter green tone. The bottom of the piece has been covered with cardboard, and appears to be stamped ‘BD’ under one of the handles. The jar also includes a variety of vintage matchbooks.
