Mid-Century Blonde Wood "Aroma-Tite" Cedar Chest by Lane

Item Details

A Lane blonde wood cedar blanket chest. This cedar chest has a top trunk compartment over a long drawer, all on four splayed legs with brass tone metal foot caps. The exterior is finished with blonde laminate and has false drawers on top and one long drawer in the bottom. The drawers have brass tone metal hardware and the lid of the chest opens to reveal a large open compartment. The interior is marked ‘Lane, Aroma-Tite Pressure Tested, Apr 1958’.
The lock that can be seen in the photos has been removed for safety reasons. The buyer can contact Lane to order a replacement piece in compliance with the company’s recall on this type of lock.
This item is located upstairs in the seller’s home.
