A 1940s wooden ammo crate. This wooden crate for storing 37mm shells includes metal hardware and latches. The box is marked with black stenciled lettering ‘Rigbs 20 Rounds Completel Shell H.E.M 83 For 37mm Guns M3, M5 & M8’. The crate dates to World War II.
