Signed Hand Thrown Art Pottery Vessel

Item Details

A large signed and hand thrown art pottery vessel. The vessel features an ovoid shape, with a cylinder form to neck and base, being finished in a warm amber brown translucent glaze. There is a carved and modeled facial image to the top right depicting an aged Lychel, the Moon Maiden, of Mayan lore. The vessel is signed ‘Wolf #16’ to the base.
