Albert Hirschfeld Limited Edition Etching of Judy Garland

A limited edition etching on paper by Albert Hirschfeld (1903 – 2003), circa 1975. The print depicts an exaggerated cartoon of American actress and singer, Judy Garland (1922 – 1969). She is depicted in spotlight during the ‘Get Happy’ scene of the 1950 movie Summer Stock. The etching is numbered 48 of an edition of 150 and signed by the artist to the lower margin. It is presented under glass and a light brown mat; set in a wooden frame with veneer. This etching was displayed in F. Scott’s of Georgetown.

Condition

- drill holes to sides of frame; foxing to edges of paper; dirt under glass; scratches to frame; glass would benefit from cleaning.
