A Louis XV style raised chest on chest. This piece features the design of a smaller chest with three drawers, resting onto a larger chest with three graduated drawers. The piece includes decorative applied molding trim accents and beveled waist molding, figured bookmatched veneers, knobs and decorative pulls, inlay filigree designs, dovetail joinery, scalloped aprons and it rises up on cabriole legs ending in whorl feet. The case is stained in a walnut tone.
