A pair of metal relief carvings of a man playing the violin and Old City Jerusalem by Israeli artist Mordechai Zamir. The copper piece depicts a whimsical scene, in which a larger than life violinist plays on the rooftops of a city. It is signed illegibly to the upper right, and presented in a wood frame without glass, with hanging hardware to the verso. The Zamir piece presents a birds eye view of Jerusalem on an organically shaped disc of silver plated metal. It is presented on a black backing in a wood frame without glass, with hanging hardware and an informational label affixed to the verso.
Condition
- some wear to both frames and versos.
