A vintage Girl Scout collection. This lot of scout memorabilia from the 1920s through the 1960s includes an embroidered yellow necktie; a 1967 sash with fifteen badges, pins and troop number; a Brownie handkerchief; two copies of the uniform catalog picturing the various age levels and styles; a nickel, quarter and dime dispenser key chain; a Brownie and Senior uniform pamphlet; and the Girl Scout Leader from October, 1964. The three books in this lot include an abridged June 1928 edition of Scouting for Girls (Girl Scouts, Inc.); Margaret Vandercook’s The Camp Fire Girls’ Careers (John C. Winston Co., Philadelphia, copyright 1915); and Mildred A. Wirt’s The Brownie Scouts at Silver Beach (Cupples and Leon Company, New York, copyright 1952).
