Three mounted butterfly dioramas.

Item Details

A selection of three butterfly dioramas. The first specimen sits on a small stick and is a birdwing butterfly from the genus Troides. It has forewings of black veins bordered by light brown and hindwings of orange with black oval spots and a wavy edge. The second features two predominantly white butterflies on a small tree trunk. They each have yellow rectangular patches on the forewings and four small brown dots. These first two displays are housed in acrylic glass boxes. The final specimen is a swallowtail butterfly with banded black patterns on the forewings over iridescent blue and green that fades into black spots over yellow and orange on the hindwings. This one is displayed under a glass dome with a wooden base. A label affixed to the underside gives instructions for cleaning.
