An Ansonia cast iron mantle clock. The clock is metal with a black finish and gilded designs throughout. Other features include a brass framed glass door that opens to a brass tone bezel and tan face with black Roman numerals and hands on a decorative gold tone centerpiece. The clock has a square shape with carved and decorative side columns and stands on a plinth style base displaying a carved and gilded foliate design. Marked ‘Ansonia Clock Co.’ inside the back, the key is included as well as two wire coils.
