A printed reproduction of the 15th century French tapestry Tapestry with the Offering of the Heart. This piece is screenprinted onto a woven fabric to resemble the tapestry weave. It depicts a couple in Medieval dress in a wooded grove. The woman is seated on a rock, holding a falcon in one hand and playing with a dog as the man approaches and offers his heart- symbolic of his love for her- in one outstretched hand. This piece is lined with burlap to the verso and unmarked.

Condition

- some wear and fading around edges; pulled threads reveal white inner yarns; dust and lint collection throughout.
