Item Details
A needlepoint portrait of a horse. This piece has a faded blue-green ground in which the image is stitched of the head of a chestnut colored horse looking over a wall. The initials ‘SBR’ are stitched below the main image. The piece is presented in a wood frame with the letters ‘HDR’ affixed to the lower right corner. It is wired to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- frayed and wrinkled throughout; apparent discoloration to blue yarn; worn frame finish.
