Vintage Chinese Dragon Robe
Item Details
A vintage Chinese dragon robe. The long robe features deep blue jacquard print fabric with predominant dragons grasping at flaming pearls surrounded by auspicious symbols, stylized clouds, and flying cranes above a striped lishu wave motif along the lower hem. The yoke collar, placket, and sleeve cuffs continue the dragon and floral motifs. Toggle closures along the collar and side complete the garment. Unlabeled.
Condition
- staining throughout lining, ripped button loop, large stains on the front, slight tears near the end of sleeve, light staining on right sleeve; moderate fabric wear and use wear.
