A selection of decorative Wedgwood plates. This five piece selection features a limited edition Valentine’s Day 1987 plate in powder blue with pink Clasically-inspired designs in low relief; a blue jasperware button in a small black and gold tone frame; and a black plate marked ‘Not the winning but the taking part Olympiad XX Munich 1972’ in gold tone around the rim. Also included is a green jasperware plate with a white design in low relief marked ‘Mother 1972’; and a blue jasperware plate with a masted ship design, and lettering in low relief reading ’America’s Heritage The West – By Sea’ around it. The plates are each marked ‘Wedgwood’ to their undersides.
Condition
- surface scratches consistent with age, no chips or cracks, some discoloration marks, would benefit from cleaning.
