Vintage commemorative medallion from Apollo 11 First Moon Landing, log book and U.S postage stamps. The silver coin features an astronaut and American flag to the front. It reads, ‘The Eagle Has Landed July 20, 1969’. On the back it reads, ‘This Medallion contains metal from spacecrafts Columbia and Eagle that took astronauts Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins on their historic Apollo 11 mission that resulted in the first landing of man on the moon’. The Log of Apollo 11 was produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The 22- piece Collection of U.S. Space Exploration Stamps includes a Certificate of Authenticity by Stafford Calvin, President of Calhoun’s Collectors Society. The stamps are dated 1960 to 1981 and commemorate man’s achievements in outer space.
