Item Details
A pair of vintage cast metal outdoor camp and hearth items. The three-legged, cast iron pot with a flexible handle is marked to the lid ‘Potjie Pot’ and is used for cooking South African dishes outdoors. The cast metal firekeeper kettle with a brass lid and an arching, flexible handle, stands on three legs. The lid has a hole for the brass firestarter wand, which is attached to a spherical stone piece that stirs the coals in the kettle. This item was used to carry coals from one camp to another.
