An antique Louis XVI style French gilt mantel clock with Sèvres style panels by Phillipe Mourey. The clock’s case features an double handled urn finial on a dome crest with scrolled elements at the cornice with hanging bell flower detail. The the upper porcelain panels feature foliate detail with an enamel face below. It is rendered in pink and white with Roman numerals in black and a floral bouquet in the center. There are porcelain panels on the sides with additional foliate accents. The bottom panels feature seated cherubs. The clock sits on four gilt paw feet with a central Classical mask to the center crowned with an anthemion decorated background. The back of the clock is marked “g/PH Mourey/74” for Phillipe Mourey.
