A collection of brass and silver plate servingware. This includes a silver plate tea and coffee service by Cheltenham & Co Ltd of Sheffield including a coffee pot, a teapot, a creamer, a sugar bowl, and a waste bowl with bat-wing fluting. These are presented with an ornate silver plate tray, and six brass cup holders with curving wave designs and delicate handles, that have no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- some surface wear with markings and tarnishing on the tea and coffee service; more significant wear with markings and significant tarnishing and discoloration to the tray and cup holders.
