Nineteenth-Century Oak Secretary

A nineteenth-century oak secretary. The secretary features a molding rail along the back and sides of the top. The front features a slant-front hinged panel with carved flourishes, and it opens to reveal a work space with divided compartments and a small drawer. Below are four dovetailed drawers, which have scalloped, convex fronts embellished with carved flourishes in the center panels. They are fitted with pairs of round wood knobs and brass keyholes. The chest has straight sides, and it rests on carved ball and claw feet. No maker’s marks.

A moving charge will be incurred by winning bidders for any items not picked up. If winning bidder chooses to not have the item moved for alternate pick-up, the winning bidder will incur a disposal fee to have the item removed.
