This collection includes Waverley; or, ’Tis Sixty Years Since by Sir Walter Scott (Edinburgh: Adam and Charles Black, 1862), The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne (Philadelphia: Henry Altemus, 1893), Maud and Other Poems by Alfred Lord Tennyson (London: William Heinemann, 1905) and Little Men by Louisa May Alcott (Boston: Roberts Brothers, n.d.). Maud is bound in soft red leather with gilt cover decoration and Waverley has a half leather binding with marbled boards.
