Gorham Weighted Sterling Candleholders in "Strasbourg" and "Victorian Chased"
Item Details
A set of four weighted sterling silver candleholders by Gorham. Featured are two pieces in the Victorian Chased pattern with embossed floral designs to the body and base; they are marked ‘Gorham Sterling, 889, Weighted, Reinforced With Other Metal’ to the underside. Also included are two candleholders in the Strasbourg pattern with raised scrolled designs to the base; they are marked ‘Gorham Sterling, Cement Filled, Reinforced With Rod of Other Metal, 1129’ to the underside.
Condition
- minor wear, markings and tarnish; some wax residue from prior use.
