An original, untitled large oil painting on canvas by American artist Don Werner (1929-2010). The piece features abstract forms in a textured palette of pale yellow, orange, ochre, and green. It is presented in a simple thin wooden frame that is wired to hang. Attributed to Don Werner on an attached note to verso.

Donald Lewis Werner was an American photographer, painter, and graphic designer born in Fresno, California in 1929. He studied at Fresno State College with Adolf and Ella Odorfer and Jane Gale. He was in Who’s Who in American Art and exhibited work at Gallery 1984, the Fresno Art Museum, the National Arts Club, and the American Museum of Natural History. His works can be found in various collections including the Smithsonian Institute and the Fresno Art Museum.
