A mixed media artwork, appearing to use pen and airbrush on paper, of huddled figures, by artist John L. Eastman. This piece uses powdery magenta and blue to depict an abstracted pair of figures pressed together against a stark background. The work features text excerpted from 1 Corinthians, ‘woman is not independent of man nor man of woman,’ and is signed by the artist to its lower right edge. This work is triple-matted under glass and presented within a gold tone frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light scratches to frame; appears to be some toning to artwork.
