Item Details
A tufted and carved Chinese area rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of powder blue, cream, mauve, and pink. It begins with an irregularly shaped rounded character medallion surrounded by a garland of flowers over a powder-blue field, each corner of which contains a bouquet of flowers and leaves. Framing the field is a primary border repeating the central medallion and florals over a cream ground. The outer guard border is powder blue. Edges are serged under a full fabric backing. The rug is unlabeled.
