A hand colored restrike engraving on paper of fruit and flowers after German apothecary and botanist Basilius Besler (1561–1629). This intricate botanical study includes a habit illustration with fruit, painted in vibrant colors. The work is signed in plate beneath the image, with species names in Latin. It is presented under a green mat and linen liner, in a wood frame with hanging wire affixed to the verso.
