Item Details

A Robert Adam style dark wood bureau by Thomasville. This piece has a rectangular top with turret corners. It has two top drawers with false façades, each of which fronted by two ring pulls and one keyhole escutcheon set in recessed panels; the top drawer also features a small attached trinket tray. Three lower drawers open via ring pulls on a wide garland plate, also set in recessed panels; the top of these three is segmented into three. All drawers feature dovetail joinery, and the entire bureau rests on square tapered feet. Marked ‘Thomasville’ to the inside of the top drawer.
