A hand-knotted Bijar area rug. This wool rug features a circular medallion centered on a red field with a dense herati pattern throughout and floral patterned corner spandrels. The primary border offers a herati pattern as well and is flanked by complementary guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and a fine wool warp fringe ai either end. Unlabeled.
