An quadriptych oil painting on wood panel. Executed with a variety of techniques including brush, air brush and sponging, this four panel work depicts a South East Asian river landscape with figures among the thatched roof houses that rise on wooden pilings. A red sun is low is the golden evening sky. It is unsigned. The panels have been lacquered and triangular hooks are attached on verso.
Condition
- lacquer is cracking on front and verso; surface wear includes chipping; residue; white wall paint along bottom edge of two panels; scuffing.
