A serigraph poster on paper for the Asian Americans for Community Involvement, designed by artist Tom Kamifuji (1922-2015). This poster features a stylized, colorful kabuki mask head-on, and the profile of a kabuki actor in makeup cutting through half of it. The title of the poster is printed to the lower edge and the artist’s last name is printed to the upper edge in large block letters. To the verso is affixed a piece of paper reading ‘Kamifuji was the man that put the color in the apple’, referring to a statement by the designers of the original Apple logo saying they were inspired by Kamifuji’s colorful prints. This piece is presented behind glass in a metal frame and wired for hanging.

- minor scratches on the framework; piece has shifted slightly in frame; small crack to glass in upper right corner.
