Hand-Knotted Iranian Hamadan Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Iranian Hamadan accent rug. This wool rug features large rectilinear floral sprays and birds throughout the field that is accented by multiple guard borders showing ‘s’ and alternating ‘xo’ patterns. The rug is finished with overcast selvedge edges and knotted warp threads that have an applied fringe sewn to the ends. A tag marked ‘Made In Iran’ is attached to the reverse.
