Offset Lithographs of Chinese Villages and "Autumn Interlude" After Paul Detlefsen
Item Details
A pair of offset lithographs on paper of Chinese village scenes. They are printed after a series of paintings that depicts people’s daily activities throughout the different months of the year. Both are stamped with seals to the upper center. To the verso of one piece is affixed an offset lithograph of a woodland waterfall titled ‘Autumn Interlude’ after Paul Detlefsen (1899-1986). It is signed in plate to the lower left. Both pieces are presented in wooden frames.
Condition
- brown mark to upper left of one print and scratch to upper left of second print; some fading; joints loose on frames.
