A vintage hand-knotted Karaja area rug. This wool rug features a hooked medallion between two guls on a field of geometric patterns and rosettes. The primary border offers stylized tree and leaf patterns flanked by flower box and tulip guard borders. The rug is finished with double overcast edges and a short wool warp fringe at either end.
