An offset lithograph on paper after an engraving titled April by H. Fletcher. This work depicts a large floral arrangement of Spring flowers in an ornate footed vase, with the name of each flower listed beneath the image. The piece is unsigned and has ‘Engraved by H. Fletcher’ printed to the lower right, and ‘From the Collection of Rob F. Furber, Gardiner at Kensington, 1730,’ printed beneath image. It is presented behind a mat, under glass in a wooden frame with a saw tooth bracket to the verso ready to hang.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; some staining to mat at one side; light wear throughout frame finish; small tears to backing paper.
