A hand-knotted Baluch Mafrash bag face. The piece features a lattice diagonal pattern of diamond shaped medallions across the field in a palette of deep green, peach, cream, and black on a taupe field. The field is enclosed by a compound border that features a serrated pattern along the guard border and a sawtooth pattern along the primary border. It has an overcast edge wit ha short wool fringe to either long end. It is tagged to the back ‘Persian handwoven Rug, Balouch’.
