A vintage photograph of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip framed with an article from ‘Variety’ magazine, from the estate of Alan King. The article, headlined ‘Liz Smiled, Prince Philip Yocks At America’s King (Alan) in Glasgow’ published July 9, 1958 describes a performance by the comedian, Alan King, in Glasgow attended by the royal couple. The black and white photograph depicts the Queen and Prince meeting to Alan King among a crowd of people. The photograph and article are mounted under glass with a white mat in a black wood frame that is wired for hanging.

- mat and prints are bowed; toning to mat and article; wear to frame finish, debris under glass; sticker residue to upper right corner of glass.
