Lu Ann Barrow Oil Painting on Canvas "Prodigal Son"
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas titled Prodigal Son by Lu Ann Barrow (American, b. 1934). Signed by hand to the lower left corner, the painting depicts a man in blue overalls holding a bucket and feeding a flock of pigs in a tree filled landscape. The painting is presented in a gold tone wood frame with a white liner. A wire for hanging purposes, a Spicewood Gallery decal, and a ink marking with the title of the piece, the name of the artist and the dated 1986 are all present to the verso.
Condition
- stretcher is loose, but still contained, in frame; light wear to frame finish.
