An offset lithograph on paper after an original woodblock titled Beauty Looking Back by Hishikawa Moronobu (菱川 師宣, Japanese, 1618-1694), now in the permanent collection of the Tokyo National Museum. This depicts a woman, in long red dress embellished with flower medallions, standing with slightly bent legs, her head turned over one shoulder. It is presented with a rose mat, under glass in a wooden frame that is wired for hanging.
