Item Details
An original gouache landscape painting on paper by well-listed American landscape artist William Arnold Eyden, Jr. (1893 – 1982). The image depicts a picturesque pond irrigating a vast field on which a small cottage is nestled in the distance, the composition rendered with complimenting yellow and purple tones. Artist signature is signed in yellow pigment to the lower left. This work is mounted under blue and white double mat, behind glass in a beveled wood frame with cast foliate veneer and a gilt finish, equipped to hang.
Condition
light discoloration across painting and matting. Veneer of frame is cracked throughout. Accretion under glass.
