A mixed media collage pice titled Crearo Ergo Sum Deo. This piece is done on paper with a deckle edge and coated in red and yellow paint with a craquelure that gives it an almost visceral finish. Black marks have been painted down the right side and a blue applied piece overlaps a maroon painted corner on the left. In the lower left corner is a graphite drawing of the head of Botticelli’s Venus on pure white paper, with the word ‘ticont’ inscribed below. The piece is titled to the lower left on the mat, signed to the lower right corner appearing to read ‘Erin Home’, and dated ‘’96’. This piece is mounted with a mat behind glass and in a gold tone frame that is strung for hanging.

Condition

- some residue under glass bottom center; frame has some surface wear.
