A sterling silver King Albert flatware service for twelve by the Whiting Manufacturing Company. The King Albert pattern was introduced in 1919 and features fine beading to the handle with a bellflower motif to the handle end. The forty-eight piece service includes twelve hollow handle knives, twelve forks and twelve individual salad forks and twelve teaspoons. The flatware is marked with the maker’s hallmark and ‘Sterling Pat.’ to handle verso. The sterling silver content for the grouping is 34.535, excluding the hollow handle dinner knives.
