Wedgwood "The American Sporting Dog" Plates
Item Details
A set of twelve Wedgwood The American Sporting Dog plates. The collectible cabinet plates were designed by artist Marguerite Kirmse and depict the featured dog on the center with a game bird above on the border. The dogs include, Golden Retriever, Gordon Setter, English Setter, Brittany Spaniel, Irish Water Spaniel, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, English Springer Spaniel, and a Labrador Retriever. The plates have printed marks to the underside with a small paragraph about the breed of dog on the front as well as an impressed ‘Wedgwood’ .
