Hand Appliquéd "Whig Rose" Quilt

Item Details

A hand-appliquéd Whig Rose pattern quilt. This more modern quilt is done in the popular 18th century pattern using the color red and creating stylized roses. The leaves on this piece are red, but normally green in this pattern. Each piece of the pattern is appliquéd by hand and then has hand picked quilting outlining each piece. The quilt is not marked by a maker.
