A limited edition offset lithograph on paper after a painting by artist John Morton Barber. The piece, titled Return of the Keeper, depicts a lighthouse keeper returning in a small sailboat to a round lighthouse that rests on stilts in the Atlantic. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right and numbered as 881 out of an edition of 950. It is additionally signed and dated 1997 in plate to the lower right within the image. The print is blind-stamped to the lower left and includes the title printed to the lower center with an additional notation of ‘Winter at Thomas Point Lighthouse, Maryland, Chesapeake Bay, Circa 1900 by John Morton Barber’. The piece is presented under Tru Vue glass in a brown wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- scratches to frame; glass would benefit from cleaning; light toning to paper.
