An oil painting on panel by an anonymous artist. The Romanticist landscape depicts an arched folly on the right and figures upon a curving stone bridge that cross the wide green plain. Misty clouds settle admist the rising hills in the distance. This work is unsigned and presented in a gold tone wooden frame with gesso ornamentation, that is wired for hanging.
Condition
- scuffs with paint loss to upper right of painting; small chip to frame at lower left and to inside edge of frame at upper right; varnish covering the painting.
