This Parisian scene depicts figures and horse drawn carriages passing along the Seine in the autumn evening light with Notre-Dame Cathedral visible in the distance. The work is signed in the bottom right and presented in a gold tone wooden frame with gesso foliate ornamentation, that is wired for hanging.
