A hand-knotted Tekke Bokhara wool accent rug. This wool on cotton rug features a repeating pattern of Kurbage medallions in a palette of black, light red and cream on a deep red field. The field is enclosed by a compound geometric border with a lattice panel to either end in the field colors. It has an overcast edge with a cotton fringe. Unmarked.
