Item Details
An original early 20th-century oil genre scene on canvas signed to the lower left by artist L. S. Gould. The image depicts two young, shabbily dressed children walking together under an umbrella on a cold, dreary day in the city. This painting is mounted in a fine beveled wood frame with opulent cast gesso foliate corner embellishments and a gilt finish, equipped to hang. A Closson’s Gallery of Cincinnati sticker is attached to the verso.
