An original watercolor painting on paper titled Temple Mills Bridge over Lea River, 1816 by listed painter George Shepherd (1784 – 1862). This well-rendered estate scene depicts a group of three men with fishing poles standing at the edge of the Lea River. It is signed to the lower right, with a French mat border beneath beveled mat board. It is protected under glass in a decorative gilt frame.

Condition

Foxing stain present to upper margin of paper.
