Hiroshi Yoshida Signed Japanese Woodblock Print "Seta Bridge"

An original 1933 Japanese woodblock print on paper by well-listed Japanese shin-hanga printmaker and painter Hiroshi Yoshida (1876 – 1950), titled Seta Bridge. The print depicts figures walking across the wooden Seta Bridge in Otsu, Japan as viewed from a shore across the river. The piece is printed in deeply-saturated colors. It is signed and titled in graphite to the lower margin, and the artist’s seal is printed in-block to the lower right. Printer’s marks are printed to the left margin. The print is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with brushed gold tone finish and a hanging wire.
Condition
- print is slightly discolored with age. A few light scuffs to frame.
