A lithograph on paper after listed artist Ben Shahn (1898 – 1969), titled Portrait. This print depicts a stylized rendering of a person’s facial features as they stare forward. The almond eyes, chiseled nose and slender mouth are indicated with quick, frenetic brush strokes. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in plate signature. The print is presented under glass beneath a black mat in a rounded, gold tone wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also included are photographs of the work hanging in a gallery.

Condition

- minor edge wear to frame; slight residue to glass; slight crease marks to paper; spacer missing at lower right corner.
